melodIfestIvalen 2018 fInalIst renaIda announced that she got dIagnosed wIth cancer

The Swedish singer shared the announcement on her Instagram page.

The Swedish fan favourite from Melodifestivalen 2018 states:

“​Never though that as a 22 year old I would write that I have cancer, but I have. This is very tough but I’m going to overcome it. Now you know – take care of you”​

Renaida tried to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2018. She participated at Melodifestivalen where she performed “All The Feels”. She finished 9th with a total of 81 points.

We wIsh her all the best and all the strength and we strongly belIeve that she wIll overcome It.
