MILA MOSKOV ANSWERED OUR QUESTİONS

On 24th of November, we had an interview with Milan Moskov, who will represent North Macedonia at the Junior Eurovision. We asked Milan who is one of the favorite names.

– How was your talent discovered?

I have always been around music growing up. Not to mention, singing since I can remember. My mom and dad knew that I loved music but not to the point that I wanted to make a career out of it. I started going to singing competitions at around the age of 9-10 and got involved with professional singing at the age of 12. Ever since then I think it’s safe to say that the perceive of my talent has grown.

– How did you decide to participate in Junior Eurovision?

I’ll keep this very simple, at the beginning I wasn’t really sure that I wanted to audition for the Junior Eurovision contest but there was a quote that I had remembered that said “you are always one decision away from flipping your whole life upside down” and that’s what made me do it.

– Could you talk us about your song ‘’Fire’’?

Sure, my song talks about the growing passions and ambitions inside one being from the day they’re born. How nothing can turn into something and basically all of that is metaphorically shown as a flame (Fire) that burns inside one’s soul.

– Your country is consider to be one of the favorites. How do you think people are reacting to this?

Well if I’m gonna be honest, I didn’t think that I would get the attention and reactions I got at the end. It was a pleasant surprise to me in a way. I think people are pleased with the song and I hope that I fulfilled their expectations.

– What do you think of Marija Spasovska’s song and performance?

Marija was amazing. Both her song and performance were very astonishing and excellent.

– How do you prepare for Junior Eurovision?

We prepared with many rehearsals. Me and my team worked very hard on this. There were countless sleepless nights, worries and extremely hard work. Our blood, sweat and tears went into this project and I have to say that I am very proud of it. But unfortunately I had an injury about 3 days ago in rehearsals and right now I am trying to recover. There is going to be changes in the performance but I will try my best to give everyone an entertaining show.

– What does Junior Eurovision mean to you?

Junior Eurovision for me means a chance to break the glass ceiling for myself and the many talented and young musicians and aspiring artists in my country. I want to show the world that we can do this and we are worth it. I can do this.

– Have you ever watched Eurovision, do you have any favourite songs?

Yes I have watched Eurovision and my favorite song by far would have to be Soldi by Mahmood, next to Proud by Tamara Todevska our beloved representative.

– Have you ever been to Turkey, what are your thoughts?

No, sadly I have not been to Turkey but I would love to visit someday. I’ve heard that it’s a beautiful country.

– This year, it will now be possible to vote online and Turkey can vote as well. Do you have any messages for Turkey or our followers?

My only message would be to vote for whoever you want. I don’t like pressuring people to do things for me, so you have freedom from me. Have fun, Share the Joy and enjoy the show.

If you want to vote for North Macedonia, you can vote at jesc.tv from 22-24 November.
