Soleá: “I am very happy with the song”
On 29th of November, we had an interview with Solea, who will represent Spain at the Junior Eurovision.
-Could you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Soleá, I’m 9 years old and I come from a spanish artists family. My dad has danced all around the world with very important artists and my mom sings since she was Little. Therefore my two passions singing and dancing come from my family.
-How was your talent discovered?
I have been dancing and singing al lof my life in stages with my family. I also became a part of a junior artist program in Spain. My parents sent a video to PEPS MUSIC GROUP and they sent it to the spanish national TV. And they chose me!!!
-How did you decide to participate in Junior Eurovision?
One day I thought I was going to a photoshoot and suddenly I met two people who told me they had a surprise for me. They asked me if I would like to represent Spain on Junior Eurovision and I couldn’t believe it, of course I’d love to!
-Could you talk to us about your song “Palante”?
Palante is a joyfull song made to encourage the people to always look forward. Specially with the situation we are going through du to COVID19 I wanted to make something fun but with a important message.
-You are one of the favorite countries this year, what do you think about it? Were you expecting such nice reactions?
Am I? I’ve Heard and read a lot of oppinions but the truth is that eventough I would love to win, I am already very very happy with the song and the work we hae all done. When I Heard the song I knew that the people where going tol ove it as much as I do.
-Your music video is very successful. Could you tell us about your music video?
It is recorded in Madrid and Seville. The people from PEPS MUSIC GROUP (my mannagement team) organized everything so that it would look amazing. I practiced with Vicky Gómez, a very important coreographer here in Spain the dance moves and with my now Friends the dancers. It was amazing, one of my favourite moments ever!
-How does it feel to represent Spain in Junior Eurovision?
Being able to represent my country which I absolutely love and admire in such an important contest is dream come true!
-Have you ever watched Eurovision, do you have any favourite songs?
Yes! I’ve watched a lot of Eurovision contest programs. My favourite son gis Marte sang by my friend Melani, I think she was great las year!!
-Have you ever been to Turkey, what are your thoughts?
No, I would love to go!!
