Second rehearsal review: Poland, Moldova, Iceland and Serbia
The second day of the second rehearsals are here! Let’s take a look what changes the delegations made to their performances.
Poland was the next country to rehearse. Expect a lot of pyro for this performance. It was better compared to the first rehearsal but still his vocals are a little bit bland. At the beginning, he holds the camera by himself but this shot does not look good. A lot of work is still to be done. I don’t think this will qualify.
Moldova was next to perform. Overall, this looked better than in the first rehearsal. The camera work is better this time but I still need some more dynamic shots which fit with the tempo of the song. In some shots the camera moves too slow. They adapted the backdrop a bit. Natalia feels more confident today. She smiles more and delivers vocally. Borderline qualifier for me.
Next to rehearse was Iceland. This was hilarious. I am pretty confident that this might win the televote. It looks absolutely adorable and fun. No majour changes compared to the first rehearsal. Camera shots are way more slick and they added more pyro to the end of the performance. Ready to go for the live shows. This will do really well.
The last country to rehearse before the lunch break was Serbia today. This is so energetic, I can’t put it into words. I think this is the most energetic performance we’ve seen in any rehearsal this year. They look amazing and the staging improved from the first rehearsals. They added more lightning and more effective camera shots. This will surely qualify, without any doubts.
