Second rehearsal review: Lithuania, Slovenia and Russia
The first day of the second rehearsals are here! Let’s take a look what changes the delegations made to their performances.
We started our day with Lithuania today. The performance feels more slick and energetic than in the first rehearsal. The Roop definitely feels more comfortable on stage this time. They added some nice camera shots and some more lightning to their performance. They also included graphics on the floor LED this time. The end, where The Roop holds the camera by himself and walks with it feels more slick now. Overall, a great show opener. This looks great!
The next country to take the stage was Slovenia. No majour changes compared to the first rehearsal. The camera shots are way better and the transparent LED screen isn’t there until the end of the song, it moves away shortly after she walked to the second part of the stage. Graphics stay the same, they added more white lightning in contrast to the very-much golden stage colors. I don’t think that it’s impactful enough to make it through, especially not between Lithuania and Russia. They have weak lightning and I miss pyro during the explosion at the end of the song.
The next country to rehearse was Russia. This is much more energetic than in the first rehearsal. Staging is kinda the same as what we saw in the first rehearsal, they changed and improved some camera angels. Now the focus is much more on Manizha. They also added some additional lights to the performance. This looks polished overall.
