The US to make a Eurovision debut?

You heard it right, we might see the United States of America in the Eurovision Song Contest in the near future.

Jon Ola Sand confirmed the news at a panel at the Eurosonic festival conference. Depending on how the American Song Contest will develope, the US might take part at the actual Eurovision Song Contest. However Jon Ola Sand confirmed that it will not happen until he is in the position as the Executive Supervisor. He will resign after this years competition in Rotterdam.
